Fernando de Godoy (b.1997, São Paulo) is a Brazilian artist who uses painting as a way of engaging with the environment that surrounds him. Throughout years of practice, his research has increasingly focused on capturing and representing visual impressions of memory, time, and sensations within the everyday. He uses photographic references to develop his compositions, drawing primarily from personal photographs and film frames. Fernando de Godoy lives in the city of São Paulo and holds both a Bachelor's degree and a Teaching Degree in Visual Arts from São Paulo State University (UNESP).
